Job summary

Nagariatextiles in Karachi invites an experienced professional to oversee the Yarn Supply Chain as Assistant Manager. You will manage local and imported yarn procurement, ensure timely availability for weaving and production.

You will supervise yarn warehouse, stock control, dyeing coordination, and certifications like BCI/CMIA where applicable, coordinating with suppliers, planning, weaving, QA and stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in yarn procurement, supply chain, merchandising or textile manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, inventory management and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage local & imported yarn purchasing, procurement and issuance.
• Manage yarn warehouse, stock control and reconciliation.
• Coordinate yarn dyeing, shade approvals and dye-house operations.
• Manage BCI, CMIA, GRS and other sustainable yarn certifications/documentation.
• Ensure timely yarn availability for weaving and production.
• Coordinate with suppliers, dye houses, Planning, Weaving, QA and Stores.
• Monitor yarn stock, deliveries, shortages and MIS reporting.
