Job Title: Assistant Manager – Product Design

Department: Retail Banking

Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and customer-focused Assistant Manager – Product Design to own the end-to-end design of customer journeys across the Bank’s retail and business digital platforms. This role combines product thinking with strong UI/UX design expertise to create seamless, intuitive, and visually engaging customer experiences while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of assigned product journeys, from research and problem definition to handover, QA, and post-launch enhancements.
• Design key customer journeys including onboarding, payments, transfers, and savings, while considering edge cases and user flows.
• Create high-quality user interfaces with strong visual hierarchy, layout, typography, spacing, and design consistency.
• Build, maintain, and enhance design system components and documentation.
• Develop UX copy, icons, illustrations, and visual assets to support customer journeys.
• Conduct usability testing, pilot programs, and research to validate design decisions and improve customer experiences.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to support research, ideation, and prototyping while maintaining ownership of design quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams throughout implementation and release cycles.
• Coordinate UAT activities and perform design QA to ensure final implementations align with approved designs.

Experience Required

• 2–3 years of experience in Product Design, preferably within fintech, digital banking, or technology environments.
• Experience designing both customer journeys and high-fidelity user interfaces.
• Experience contributing to or building design systems and conducting usability testing.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design capabilities is required.

Educational Background Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related discipline.
