Job description

As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the complete accounting operations for auto stores and service centres, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Your role includes managing daily transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will monitor payables, receivables, and vendor accounts while maintaining proper stock and tax records.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts for auto store and service centres in line with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
  • Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
  • Perform daily and monthly revenue and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports for each service centre.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable balances; ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate vendor ledgers and ensure reconciliation with supplier statements.
  • Track and record stock consumption of oils, lubricants, filters, and other parts across stores and service centres along with physical stock counts.
  • Maintain updated sales tax records for all transactions and file monthly and quarterly returns in accordance with applicable laws and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA finance/ACCA)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in retail, service, or automotive industries.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) and MS Excel.
