Malek Foam Industry (Private) Limited is seeking a motivated CA Finalist to strengthen its Accounts and Internal Audit functions. This on-site role provides hands-on exposure to financial reporting, manufacturing accounts, product costing, inventory controls, ERP processes and internal audit.

Reporting to the CFO, you will assist with monthly closings, reconciliations, statutory compliance and audits, working closely with ERP and accounting teams.

Qualifications

• CA Finalist from ICAP with completed mandatory training/articles.
• Fresh candidates or applicants with up to two years of post-training experience may apply.
• Articles from a reputable audit firm will be preferred.
• Exposure to manufacturing, inventory audit or cost accounting will be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, ISAs and basic Pakistani tax and corporate requirements.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel; ERP experience will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site at Kala Shah Kaku.

Responsabilités

• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Review accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank and inventory reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide audit documentation.
• Assist with income tax, sales tax and other statutory compliance workings.
• Review product costing, bills of materials and production consumption.
• Analyse standard versus actual production costs and variances.
• Monitor raw material, work-in-process and finished-goods inventory.
• Participate in physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Review production yield, wastage, abnormal consumption and negative inventory.
• Help improve ERP-based inventory and production controls.
• Perform risk-based audits of procurement, production, inventory, sales, payroll, cash and fixed assets.
• Review compliance with company policies, SOPs and approval authorities.
• Test internal controls and identify financial or operational weaknesses.
• Prepare clear audit observations and practical recommendations.
• Follow up on agreed corrective actions and report unresolved matters.
• Conduct special reviews and investigations assigned by management
