The ideal candidate holds a CA, ACCA, MBA in Finance/Accounts or a relevant Master’s degree with at least three years of experience, and is proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

Qualifications

• Qualified with CA/ACCA/MBA in Finance/Accounts or relevant Master’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filing procedures.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow related activities.
• Utilize ERP accounting software such as SAP or Oracle Financials to process transactions and generate reports.
• Maintain accurate records using accounting software and MS Excel including advanced formulas for data analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in streamlining accounting processes and implement efficient controls for financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely financial transactions.
• Monitor deadlines for financial reporting and statutory submissions to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the accounting function and recommend best practices.
