Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Finance Manager to manage and oversee the financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense tracking, and payroll.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Pakistan’s corporate filing requirements, including SECP submissions, board documentation, and overall legal affairs.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor company cash flow, expenditures, and profitability.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, HR, and operations) to align financial planning with business goals.
  • Support management with financial insights for decision-making and process optimization.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure data accuracy in all financial transactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA preferred).
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a tech company or software house.
  • Well-versed in Pakistan’s corporate laws and SECP filings, with hands-on experience managing company legal and corporate compliance.
