Job summary

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA) seeks a qualified supervisor for plant quarantine operations at entry/exit points. The role focuses on inspecting imports/exports, ensuring SOP compliance, and coordinating with customs to facilitate compliant trade.

You will lead inspection teams, supervise staff, manage reporting, and maintain records. A B.Sc.

Qualifications

Minimum 16 years of education in Agriculture with specialization as listed.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in plant quarantine, border inspection, export/import compliance, or field operations.
Knowledge of phytosanitary inspection procedures and SOPs.
Willingness to work in shift/field environments and at busy border points.

Responsibilities

Provide local supervision of phytosanitary inspection and compliance for plant imports/exports at the assigned entry/exit point.
Supervise inspectors and ensure SOP-compliant documentary verification, inspection, sampling and reporting.
Coordinate verification of phytosanitary treatments and ensure safety/compliance of treatment parameters.
Support issuance workflows for phytosanitary certification and clearance decisions by ensuring inspection outcomes are complete.
Coordinate with Customs and border agencies to facilitate timely, compliant trade.
Report interceptions, non-compliances, suspected fraud, and biosecurity risks, and prepare official records.
Maintain local compliance records and periodic HQ reports.
Support audits, verification missions, and training of field staff.
Perform other responsibilities as directed.
