Job summary

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of NAFSA seeks an experienced supervisor for phytosanitary inspection operations. The role involves overseeing plant import/export inspections at entry/exit points and regional stations, ensuring SOP compliance and accurate reporting.

You will coordinate with inspectors, manage treatment verifications, and support certification and clearance workflows for imports/exports. Willingness to work shifts and field environments at busy border points is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum sixteen years of education in Agriculture with specialization in Entomology, Plant Protection, Plant Pathology, Weed Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of phytosanitary inspection and sampling procedures.
• Proficiency in computer applications and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide local operational supervision of phytosanitary inspection and compliance activities at the entry/exit point or regional station.
• Supervise inspectors and ensure SOP compliance for verification, inspection, sampling, and reporting.
• Coordinate verification of treatments and ensure compliance with safety standards and parameters.
