Contour Software in Lahore is hiring an Assistant Accountant to join the PPI team. You will handle bank reconciliations, invoicing, month-end close, and data analysis, collaborating with finance partners to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Bank and account reconciliation preparation and adjustments.
• Post invoice batches and ensure correct revenue deferrals.
• Prepare customer and supplier invoices and reconcile monthly activity.
• Assist with month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and reports.
• Record transactions using Concur, GP, and other platforms.

We are seeing a qualified, independent, and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant, Accounting & Finance, to join our PPI team at our Contour office in Lahore.

Responsibilities

• Bank and account reconciliation preparation and adjustments, analytical review and variance analysis
• Post invoice batches within the sales module and ensuring that the invoices are being deferred correctly
• Coordinate and prepare customer and supplier invoices and reconcile monthly invoice activity to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Assistance with the preparation of revenue analysis reports monthly
• Coordinates and manages all relevant support relating to customer invoices including executed contracts, purchase orders and other support material
• Month-end reporting and data analysis
• Assistance with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations monthly and related reports for payments
• Assistance with quarter-end and year-end deliverables.
• Hardware purchase and sale of Terminal tracking, reporting and analysis.
• Implement process improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Preparation of journal entries for month-end close
• Written and verbal communication with all payment partners
• Record transactions using various platforms (Concur, GP, etc.)
• Undertake special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

Professional Acumen

• Be proactive in ensuring processes are completed end-to-end and all deliverables are submitted in a timely manner by the team
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identify, review, and implement process improvements
• When not receiving information or support required, proactively take action to resolve the matter and escape when needed

Educational and Technical Skills

• 2+ years of proven accounting experience
• Finalist or part-qualified Professional qualification (ACCA / ICAP or similar), Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Proficiency in English communication skills and in MS Office (primarily in MS Excel)
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a rapidly changing environment
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identify, review, and implement process improvements
