Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence recruits an Application Associate to bridge product and client needs in Islamabad. You’ll become a product expert for SNL Feeds, investigate issues, and drive permanent fixes.

You’ll collaborate with Product Managers and Data Operations to ensure accurate, reliable, and usable data for clients, while growing your technical and consulting skills. You will be part of a high-energy team focused on innovation and continuous learning, with opportunities for mentoring

• Collaborate with Product Managers to shape enhancements and prioritise fixes.
• Work with Data Operations to improve data accuracy, reliability, and usability.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and client-facing communication of changes.

About The Role

Help shape the data product that powers the world's largest financial institutions.

As an Application Associate, you'll sit at the point where the product meets the client. You'll learn how clients really use the feeds, find where the product falls short, and turn what you learn into improvements. You'll dig into data and product issues to find the root cause, then work with Product and Data Operations to fix the product so the issue stays fixed.

What You'll Do

• Become a product expert on SNL Feeds: how they're structured, delivered, and used by clients
• Investigate data and product issues to find root causes, and drive permanent fixes rather than one-off workarounds
• Spot patterns across client conversations, surveys, case reviews, and feedback, and turn them into clear product insights and improvement ideas
• Partner with Product Managers and team leads to shape enhancements, prioritize fixes, and bring the client's perspective into product decisions
• Work with Data Operations to improve the accuracy, reliability, and usability of the data clients receive
• Keep documentation, data sources, and workflows accurate and current as the product changes
• Review product changes and releases from the client's point of view, so clients get clear communication and a smooth transition
• Grow your technical and consulting skills through coaching, mentoring, and hands‑on work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Fresher or up to 6months of experience in product support, application support, data operations, or a client‑facing technical role.
• A plus: knowledge of SQL, APIs, or feed‑based delivery systems
• An advantage: an understanding of financial data or capital markets
