Job summary

The Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy seeks an accomplished Project Manager to lead the Anticipatory Action project in Sindh. You will coordinate with PDMA, WFP, and government bodies to align with governance protocols and data-sharing frameworks, ensuring effective triggers and risk-informed planning.

The role emphasizes capacity building, monitoring, reporting, and collaboration with donors and partners to strengthen local resilience and disaster preparedness across communities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Disaster Management or related field.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of progressively responsible professional experience in DRR, Anticipatory Action, climate resilience, emergency preparedness, humanitarian programming, or resilience-building programmes.
  • Experience working with PDMA, DDMAs, PMD, FFD and humanitarian partners such as WFP, UN agencies, or international NGOs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership to the project team and project office for Anticipatory Action, disaster risk reduction, and climate resilience activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective coordination with PDMA, WFP, government departments, humanitarian organizations, UN agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project office, finances, staff and consultants in alignment with organizational policies and ensure timely delivery of work plans.
