Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain intelligent automation solutions that combine workflow automation with modern AI and LLM capabilities. You will own end-to-end automation pipelines, from identifying manual processes to shipping AI-powered tools that increase efficiency and accuracy across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or a related build role.
• Strong programming skills in Python for automation and integration work.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into applications or workflows.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Experience with prompt engineering and building AI-driven pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, with Azure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation workflows that integrate AI and LLM services into existing business and engineering processes.
• Build and deploy AI agents, prompt pipelines, and document processing systems (parsing, extraction, classification, summarization).
• Integrate third-party and internal APIs to connect data sources, applications, and AI models into reliable end-to-end pipelines.
• Automate repetitive workflows using scripting, RPA, and low-code or no-code platforms where appropriate.
• Optimize prompts, model selection, and pipeline logic for cost, latency, and output quality.
• Monitor deployed automations, handle errors and edge cases, and maintain performance over time.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate them into working solutions.
• Document architecture, workflows, and handover material so solutions are maintainable and scalable.

About the Role:

We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain intelligent automation solutions that combine workflow automation with modern AI and LLM capabilities. You will own end-to-end automation pipelines, from identifying manual processes to shipping AI-powered tools that reduce effort, cut turnaround time, and improve accuracy across the business. This is a hands-on build role for someone who is comfortable moving between scripting, API integration, and applied AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation workflows that integrate AI and LLM services into existing business and engineering processes.


• Build and deploy AI agents, prompt pipelines, and document processing systems (parsing, extraction, classification, summarization).


• Integrate third-party and internal APIs to connect data sources, applications, and AI models into reliable end-to-end pipelines.


• Automate repetitive workflows using scripting, RPA, and low-code or no-code platforms where appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar) into applications or workflows.


• Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data formats such as JSON and XML.


• Experience with prompt engineering and building AI-driven pipelines.


• Familiarity with cloud platforms, with Azure preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with workflow automation or low-code platforms (Power Platform, Zapier, n8n, Make, or similar).


• Exposure to RPA tools and process automation frameworks.


• Experience with document processing (PDF, DOCX, OCR) and data extraction at scale.


• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).


• Working knowledge of CI/CD, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker).
