Job summary

SME Careers is seeking an Accounting Subject Matter Expert to review and improve AI-generated accounting responses. You will craft expert content, explain complex concepts, and ensure journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements align with GAAP/IFRS.

You will work remotely on an hourly basis, coordinating across time zones. A strong accounting background and written English proficiency are essential for clear, precise feedback and model solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience in relevant fields.
• Strong knowledge of revenue/expense recognition, accruals, and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: prompts, gold-standard accounting outputs, explanations, and checklists.
• Evaluate AI responses for correctness, clarity, and GAAP/IFRS adherence.
• Test outputs for accuracy, bias, and internal control alignment across scenarios.
