Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP professional to join the Hyderabad delivery team. You will work on ABAP development, OO ABAP, and integration with FI/CO modules, CDS views, and Fiori/UI5. You will lead configuration, drive solution design, and mentor junior engineers in an Agile setting.

The role emphasizes end-to-end project ownership, client collaboration, and proactive problem solving to ensure high-quality, scalable SAP solutions for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–9 years of SAP ABAP experience.
• Strong ABAP and OO ABAP expertise.
• Hands-on with DDIC, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Knowledge of Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, CTS.
• Good understanding of FI/CO modules and data models.
• Senior-level debugging and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP ABAP development projects.
• Design solutions, prototypes, and POCs for clients.
• Plan configuration activities and conduct pilot runs.
• Mentor junior team members and support project delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree with 5-9 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Hands-on experience with DDIC, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Knowledge of Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, and SAP Transport Management (CTS).
• Good understanding of SAP FI/CO modules and related data models.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in ABAP performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to manage end-to-end development projects.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and business teams.

Technical Requirements

• Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP
• Knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5
• Experience with workflow, Web Dynpro ABAP, or PI/PO integrations

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization's financial guidelines

Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
