Job summary

Pilot Assessments seeks a capable First Officer to join a fixed-term program. You will operate as Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring, supporting the Captain to ensure safe, compliant operations across all flights.

The role requires a valid A320 type rating, a minimum of 700 total flight hours (A320 time preferred), and eligibility for visa sponsorship. Training spans roughly three months with 12 months of flying, including per diem and progressive salary steps.

Qualifications

• A320 type rating (valid).
• Minimum 700 hours total flying experience; A320 time preferred.
• Low-cost carrier experience is desirable.
• Eligible foreign nationals; visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Act as Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring and assist the Captain in managing flight deck activities.
• Conduct flights in compliance with OM and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate preflight with Captain and Dispatch on status, route, weather, fuel and duty.
• Complete required checks, records and flight documentation (log book, CFP).
• Record information in systems, verify data, obtain Captain’s signature.
• Verify fuel type and supervise fuelling at stations without staff.
• Alert Captain to irregularities and support safety actions.
• Undertake additional ground duties when directed by Head of Flight Operations.
