Overview

We are looking for a skilled and creative 2D Animator to produce high-quality explainer videos for various maternity and newborn care apps, primarily used in the Netherlands and other European countries. These videos will help new parents understand topics like breastfeeding, newborn behavior, postpartum care, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Animate scripts into clear and calm 2D explainer videos
• Use soft, subtle colors and transitions that feel peaceful and professional
• Ensure a high level of detail and visual quality
• Include motion effects that support the message without overwhelming it
• Work closely with our team (we provide the script and voiceover)
• Deliver videos ready for in-app and social media use

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D animation, with a strong portfolio
• Ability to design smooth transitions and supportive visual effects
• Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, or similar tools
• Strong eye for clarity, storytelling, and clean design
• Able to deliver on time and work independently

Nice to have

• Understanding of European / Dutch design preferences (minimalist, calm, soft)
• Ability to create subtitle-ready layouts
• Experience with medical, baby, or healthcare-related content
