Job summary

Valtech is seeking an experienced Xstore Tech Lead in Bengaluru. You will drive experience innovation, upgrade Xstore versions, and design integrations across ERP, CRM, and POS systems. You bring 8+ years of IT experience with deep Oracle Xstore POS expertise and hands-on Java/J2EE with Spring and Hibernate.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of IT experience with strong focus on Oracle Xstore POS.
• Xstore version upgrades - at least 2 projects.
• Hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate.
• Strong skills in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience in Oracle Retail ecosystem and POS integrations.
• Minimum 4 end-to-end Xstore implementations.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Xstore version upgrades, at least 2 projects.
• Design and implement inbound/outbound integrations (ERP, CRM, OMS, EFTLink, Customers, Articles, Prices, Promotions, Sales/Settlement).
• Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Xstore POS applications.
• Lead at least 4 full-cycle Xstore implementation projects.
• Mentor team members and ensure coding standards.

Role responsibilities

• Experience in Xstore version upgrades, at least 2 projects
• Working with the Business teams to understand the requirement and design technical solutions.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Xstore POS applications.
• Contribute to at least 4 full-cycle Oracle Xstore implementation projects.
• Design and implement inbound/outbound integrations (ERP, CRM, OMS, EFTLink, Customers, Articles, Prices, Promotions, Sales/Settlement).
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical production issues and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and QA teams.
• Ensure coding standards, conduct unit testing, and perform code reviews.
• Support enhancements, new features, and localization requirements.
• Perform POCs
• Mentor the team members

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• 8–10 years of IT experience with strong focus on Oracle Xstore POS.
• Xstore version upgrades -at least 2 project
• Hands‑on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate.
• Strong skills in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience in Oracle Retail ecosystem and POS integrations.
• Minimum 4 end‑to‑end Xstore implementations.
