Job summary

KMC Solutions is seeking a Senior Workplace Interior Designer to lead the creative development of workplace design opportunities from concept through handover. You will bridge design, strategy, and business development to translate client requirements into commercially viable workplace solutions.

Based at One Ayala, Makati, the role operates in a hybrid setup (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). You will collaborate with client relationships, estimators, and design leaders to craft compelling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial interior design experience.
• Strong experience in workplace, corporate, commercial office, fit-out, or design-and-construct projects.
• Experience supporting client pitches, proposals, tenders, or early-stage project development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

We're looking for a talented and commercially minded Senior Workplace Interior Designer to lead the creative development of workplace design opportunities from initial concept through to project handover.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of design, strategy, and business development, creating innovative workplace concepts, test fits, client presentations, and proposal submissions that help secure new projects and establish strong foundations for successful delivery. You'll collaborate closely with client relationship teams, estimators, and design leaders to translate client requirements into compelling and commercially viable workplace solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Lead Workplace Test Fits & Space Planning

• Develop accurate and visually compelling test fit layouts.

• Assess headcount requirements, workplace strategies, and spatial constraints.

• Create workplace planning solutions that clearly demonstrate the potential of a space.

• Continuously improve test fit processes, templates, and presentation standards.

Drive Early-Stage Design & Concept Development

• Lead workplace briefing, discovery, and spatial planning activities.

• Develop workplace strategies, concept designs, and design narratives.

• Create presentations, mood boards, finishes palettes, and design concepts.

• Identify key project opportunities, challenges, and design considerations early in the process.

Support New Business, Pitches & RFPs

• Lead and contribute to design responses for proposals, tenders, and client presentations.

• Translate client briefs into creative and commercially viable design solutions.

• Prepare compelling presentation materials and design collateral.

• Support pitch presentations and client workshops as required.

Partner with Clients & Stakeholders

• Participate in client briefing and discovery sessions.

• Present design concepts and workplace strategies confidently.

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Provide thoughtful design recommendations aligned to client objectives and workplace needs.

Champion Design Excellence

• Stay current with emerging workplace trends, technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.

• Contribute to design innovation and creative reviews.

• Help elevate design standards, storytelling, and presentation quality across the business.

Skill Requirements:

Experience

• 5+ years of commercial interior design experience.

• Strong experience in workplace, corporate, commercial office, fit-out, or design-and-construct projects.

• Experience supporting client pitches, proposals, tenders, or early-stage project development.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.

• Strong experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Experience with D5 Render or similar visualization software.

• Strong workplace planning and test fit capability.

• Excellent presentation and visual communication skills.

Work Location: One Ayala, Makati

Work Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PH Time, Monday - Friday

Arrangement: Hybrid, 3x a week on-site (Mon-Wed), 2x remote (Thur-Fri)
