Job summary

Cargo Padala Express Forwarding Services Corp, based in Parañaque, Philippines, is seeking a responsible driver to safely transport and deliver cargo according to schedules. The role includes pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintaining delivery records.

The ideal candidate has a valid professional driver's license, proven experience with wingvan/trucks, knowledge of road safety, physical fitness for loading tasks, and a strong sense of responsibility and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.
• Valid Professional Driver's License with appropriate restriction codes for operating wingvan trucks.
• Proven experience driving wingvan, truck, or other commercial vehicles.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting in cargo loading and unloading when necessary.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and customer service.
• Willing to travel and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver cargo to designated locations according to approved schedules and routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects, damages, or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure the proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo to prevent loss or damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery documents, trip records, waybills, and proof-of-delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, operations personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and shipment concerns.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company safety policies, and transportation regulations.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, roadworthy, and in good operating condition.
