Job summary

M2 Fabrication Inc. in Cavite, Philippines seeks an experienced welder to join our metal fabrication team. You will operate TIG/MIG welders, read blueprints, set up assemblies, and ensure quality beads on welded joints.

Candidates with 1-2 years of welding experience and a welding certificate have an advantage. This is an on-site position in Cavite, requiring good manual dexterity and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Able to operate TIG/MIG welding
• Able to read technical drawings is an advantage
• Welder experience in metal manufacturing is an advantage
• Capable of working under pressure
• At least 1-2 years experience
• Welding Certificate is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Use disc grinder to smooth surfaces before welding
• Operate manual/automated welding units to deposit metal and join edges
• Maintain arc length and travel speed for desired fusion and bead
• Repair improperly welded parts and fill holes
• Position and clamp parts or assemble in a jig fixture
• May change hoses, fittings, air valves, suspension parts, etc.
• Perform welding with forming and cutting equipment
• Design and procedure new parts per specifications
• Analyze diagrams and specs and cut metal with welding torch
• Administer welding activities including riveting and welding small parts

• Use disc grinder to smooth out,weld or grind parts prior to welding.
• Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment by depositing metal from electrode to work piece and joins edges of work piece.
• Maintain length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead.
• Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes.
• Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in a jig fixture
• May change hoses, fittings, air valves, suspension parts, etc.
• Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment's.
• Design and procedure new parts according to specifications
• Analyze diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly with help of welding torch.
• Administer all welding activities such as riveting and welding small parts and finished products.

Qualification

• Single/Married
• Can operate TIG/MIG and welding machine.- Can read technical drawings is an advantage.
• Welder skills in a metal manufacturing set-up is an advantage.
• Can work under pressure.
• At least 1-2 years experience
• Have Welding Certificate is an advantage
