Job summary

NATCORP is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our Laguna, Philippines manufacturing team. The role requires performing MIG, TIG, and SMAW/ARC welding, reading weld symbols and drawings, and preparing parts for welding. You will inspect welds, operate welding machines, and assist with fabrication tasks as needed.

The position emphasizes safety, equipment upkeep, and teamwork in a busy industrial setting, with opportunities to contribute to quality improvements and on-site production goals.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; vocational/technical training is an advantage.
• Welder/Fabricator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding procedures and metal fabrication.
• Able to read basic technical drawings or welding symbols.
• Physically fit for a manufacturing environment.
• NC II in SMAW or related certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, SMAW/ARC welding as required.
• Read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and drawings.
• Prepare, cut, fit, and align metal parts before welding.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and appearance.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment.
• Perform grinding, cutting, drilling, and other fabrication tasks when needed.
• Identify and repair defective welds or damaged components.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Prepare, cut, fit, and align metal parts before welding.
• Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and proper appearance.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment.
• Perform grinding, cutting, drilling, and other fabrication tasks when necessary.
• Identify and repair defective welds or damaged metal components.
• Follow proper workplace safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate; vocational/technical course is an advantage.
• With experience as a Welder/Fabricator preferred.
• Knowledge of welding procedures and metal fabrication.
• Able to read basic technical drawings or welding symbols.
• Physically fit and willing to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• With NC II in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or other relevant certification is an advantage.
