Job summary

Skyrocket Studios is seeking a Mid-Level Developer to design, implement, and optimize WordPress and Shopify websites, integrating advanced API and Martech features. You will work on cloud and AI integrations, data pipelines, and performance engineering while mentoring junior developers and shaping technical strategy.

You will collaborate across frontend and backend teams, ensure code quality, and maintain scalable systems for marketing technology and digital products.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in web development, particularly WordPress and Shopify.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, Liquid, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third‑party integrations, and database management (MySQL).
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud APIs, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Experience with AI/ML integrations such as Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, or AI agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize WordPress and Shopify websites with modern standards and responsive design.
• Build and customize Liquid templates and third‑party app integrations for Shopify
• Develop AI-powered features and data pipelines using GCP tools and Vertex AI
• Create and maintain API integrations, data layer structures, and analytics tracking for Martech
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical strategy and quality assurance
• Develop and enforce development standards across frontend and backend systems
