Job summary

Outsource Philippines is seeking a Web Developer with strong AI-assisted development skills to build, maintain, and improve modern web applications using both traditional software engineering practices and AI coding tools.

The ideal candidate collaborates with AI coding assistants to accelerate development, generate and refactor code, troubleshoot issues, write tests, and explore technical solutions. You will review and secure AI-generated code before production.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience with backend development using Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, or similar.
• Good understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Git and version control.
• Ability to read, understand, debug, and modify existing code.
• Ability to identify problems in AI-generated code.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and common web vulnerabilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Good understanding of software development fundamentals and clean code principles.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE preferred but not required.
