To be responsible for planning and developing software solutions and web applications, supporting and maintaining a company’s websites and digital products. The day‑to‑day work of the web developer highly depends on constantly evolving internet innovations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Website and software application designing, building, and maintaining
- Determine user needs by analyzing technical requirements
- Constant communication with other colleagues, in the team and business, to develop and deploy their content
- Confer with the team to ensure there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe & discuss how to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions
- Direct and/or perform Website updates
- Build landing pages for client websites
- Use scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media
- Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery
- Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correct or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction
- Maintain an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through continuous learning
- Coordinate with the rest of the team to edit, or design website content
- Design and create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation would be a good fit for the job
