Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences, or a Bachelor’s degree with mathematics up to Integral Calculus and at least 6 units in Physics.

Training

Meteorological Training Course (MTC) / Hydrologists Training Course (HTC) or other related discipline; if holding a Diploma/ Master’s or Doctoral degree in Meteorology, Hydrology, Atmospheric Science, Agricultural Meteorology, or other related discipline; for those with a BS Meteorology or higher degree in Natural Sciences but without MTC, a 3-month practicum on Weather Forecasting is required.
