Job summary

Metrobank in the Philippines seeks a Junior Officer in the Financial Markets Sector / Investment Distribution Division (South Luzon) to grow investment assets and client relationships. You will handle high net worth and other investing clients, offering time deposits, FX, fixed income, structured products, and other investments as approved.

You will support Relationship Managers, profile clients for product suitability, conduct market briefings, and ensure timely delivery of investment documents

Responsibilities

• Implements business strategies to increase client base, improve customer service and relations, enhance client retention and loyalty, and derive additional business from existing accounts.
• Supports Relationship Managers of various sectors in deepening customer relationships by providing investment solutions through products and services.
• Profiles clients as to product suitability and assists the Branch and Relationship Managers in conducting profiling activities.
• Conducts marketing calls and comprehensive product briefings and market updates to prospective and existing clients.
• Executes the investment solutions confirmed by clients with the Bank as its counterparty and depending on the authority it provided.
• Continually assesses and provides feedback to the Desk/Department Head regarding financial markets performance, competitiveness, relevance and overall profitability viability of investment products and services.
• Complies with policies and regulations affecting the market where he/she trades and conducts work activities with an awareness of the risks and prescribed controls.
• Monitors the submission of required documents by clients/branches and ensures accuracy and prompt delivery of investment documents and reports to internal clients.
• Updates and keeps pertinent records of the Desk
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
