Job summary

SMEC Services Pty Limited in Pasig, NCR, PH is seeking a CAD Operator to support water infrastructure projects. You will draft detailed drawings, layouts, and schematic diagrams using AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation, and assist engineers through project stages.

The role emphasizes drawing management, QA checks, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate produces both 2D and 3D drawings, maintains CAD standards, and contributes to tender, construction, and as-built

Qualifications

Experience with CAD drafting for water or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, sections, profiles, and construction details using CAD software.
Develop and update water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility infrastructure drawings.
Assist engineers and designers in producing design documentation for project stages.
Generate layouts, pipelines, utility alignments, site plans, and schematic drawings.
Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
Revise drawings based on engineer comments and client feedback.
Organize and archive project files according to company standards.
Coordinate with engineers and designers to resolve drafting issues.
Prepare tender, construction, and as-built documentation.
Utilize survey data, GIS information, and design calculations to develop project drawings.
Develop CAD templates, libraries, and drafting procedures.
