Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing: Receiving and processing orders, and pulling materials
• Storing and organizing: Storing and organizing merchandise in the warehouse, and putting labels on outgoing parcels
• Loading and unloading: Loading and unloading materials from trucks, railway cars, and other vehicles
• Inventory: Taking inventory of materials, and conducting inventory checks
• Operating equipment: Operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Safety: Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and following health and safety regulations
• Shipping: Packaging merchandise for shipment, and keeping records of shipments
• Deliveries: Completing deliveries by driving a truck or van to and from vendors
• Maintenance: Maintaining the truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs
• Teamwork: Collaborating with team members to meet daily productivity targets
