Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Vulnerability Engineer in Manila to conduct vulnerability analysis, remediation, and monitoring across our Tech environment. You will identify gaps, track threats, and implement robust security controls to protect infrastructure.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 3 years in a similar role. Familiarity with Rapid7, Intune, Azure, Cisco, and related tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science with at least 3 years of working experience in a similar role / global / international.
• Hands-on experience with Rapid7 and Microsoft Intune
• Familiarity With: Microsoft Azure, Cisco Networking, AlienVault, Windows Server environments, TCP/IP networking, ManageEngine
• Demonstrate significant technical abilities, able to remediate high priority Infosec situations.
• Willing to work on a 24x7 shifting schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Role description:

Analysis, remediation and monitoring of vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors across the company’s Tech environment. The functional title is Vulnerability Engineer.

Role accountabilities:

Identification:

• Active scanning of Tech environment to identify gaps in security
• Track, monitor and prioritize threats
• Keep up to date knowledge on threat landscape

Assessment:

• Background on Tech Infrastructure environment to grasp and fully understand potential impact of identified vulnerabilities.

Resolution:

• Remediation, responsible for eliminating detected security weakness within infrastructure
• Mitigation, able to implement security controls and technical safeguards for threat prevention
• Acceptance, able to identify and recommend

Audit and Reassessment:

• Reevaluating resolution details to make sure changes done conforms to security needs
• Recurring audit and penetration tests

Configuration Management:

• Improve security posture of the company by identifying systems misconfiguration.
• Applying industry-based security config baselines

Reporting:

• Creation and maintenance of compliance reports
• Threat Mapping
• Enable stakeholders by researching, compiling and analyzing vulnerability data

Key shared accountabilities:

• Threat Intelligence
• Cyber Attack / Intrusion Prevention

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science with at least 3 years of working experience in a similar role / global / international.
• High Technical experience and full understanding of security concepts. Preferably trained and certified in any of the ff governing security learning bodies; CompTIA Security+, EC-Council, CISSP & CISM.
• Hands‑on experience with Rapid7 and Microsoft Intune
• Preferred / Familiarity With:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Cisco Networking
  • AlienVault
  • Windows Server environments
  • TCP/IP networking
  • ManageEngine
• Demonstrate significant technical abilities, able to demonstrate competency by providing fast remediations during high priority Infosec situations.
• Willing to work on a 24x7shifting schedules including weekends and holidays.
