Job summary

optiBPO is seeking a seasoned Video Editor in Angeles City, Pampanga, working on a UK shift. The role focuses on post-production for long-form and short-form content, product demos, and paid social videos.

You will own editing from scripts to final exports, ensuring pacing, storytelling, and brand consistency across platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, advanced Premiere Pro skills, and experience with After Effects.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating long-form and short-form editing.
• Advanced knowledge of professional video editing software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience using Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.
• Experience editing vertical and horizontal video.
• Ability to create clear, modern subtitles and on-screen graphics.
• Good audio editing and colour correction skills.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and detailed briefs.
• Ability to work independently and manage several projects at once.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into professional, engaging and well-paced videos.
• Take ownership of the full post-production process, including footage selection, sequencing, sound, music, graphics, subtitles and final export.
• Work from scripts, briefs, brand assets and instructions supplied by the client marketing team.
• Improve structure and pacing of content beyond mere clip assembly.
• Maintain consistent audio levels, colour correction and production quality.
• Source royalty-free music and assets as needed.
• Create subtitles and captions for each platform.
• Export videos in correct formats, resolutions and aspect ratios.
• Edit long-form YouTube videos with product demonstrations and technical content.
• Identify opportunities to improve storytelling and retention.
• Add relevant graphics and product information.
• Produce revisions based on client feedback.
• Repurpose content into short-form edits for social platforms.
• Develop platform-specific edits and thumbnails.
• Assist with paid advertising video variants.
• Collaborate with marketing to adapt organic content into ads.
• Review client video libraries to identify reuse opportunities.
• Ensure brand alignment across all videos.
• Learn and apply client brand guidelines consistently.
