About the role

Summer Technic Corp. is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse video content projects within the Advertising, Arts & Media industry. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that captivate audiences and drive our clients' objectives. This position is based on-site in Pasig City, Metro Manila, where you will collaborate with our dynamic creative team to produce high-quality edited content across multiple platforms and formats.

What you'll be doing

• Edit raw video footage using professional editing software to create polished, engaging content for various platforms including social media, broadcast, and digital media

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver edits that align with creative vision and client objectives

• Apply colour correction, audio mixing, visual effects, and motion graphics to enhance video content and ensure professional quality standards

• Manage and organise video assets, footage libraries, and project files in a systematic and efficient manner

• Incorporate client feedback and revisions into edited content, maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to creative direction

• Ensure all edited content meets technical specifications and broadcast standards for different distribution channels

• Stay current with industry trends, editing techniques, and software updates to continuously improve your craft

• Meet project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of creativity and attention to detail

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio demonstrating strong editing skills across various content types and formats

• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent industry-standard tools

• Strong understanding of colour grading, audio editing, sound design, and post-production workflows

• Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and animation is highly desirable

• Excellent eye for visual composition, pacing, storytelling, and aesthetic detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a creative team environment

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining tight deadlines and quality standards

• Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and platform specifications for social media and broadcast delivery

• A creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and innovative content creation

• Diploma or degree in Film, Media Production, or related field is advantageous, though relevant portfolio experience is equally valued
