Job summary

A trusted manufacturer of animal feeds is seeking an Animal Nutritionist to develop and optimize feed formulations and provide technical support to farmers. This full-time role involves office-based tasks and regular field visits within Regions 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2-4 years of experience in animal nutrition.

Qualifications

  • At least 2–4 years of experience in animal nutrition or feed formulation.
  • Willing to travel extensively within Region 3 and Region 4.
  • Licensed agriculturist or veterinarian is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize feed formulations for livestock and poultry.

About the Company

The Animal Nutritionist will play a key role in developing, improving, and promoting animal feed products. The role includes both office-based formulation work and regular field visits across Regions 3 and 4 to support clients, conduct technical consultations, and provide feeding strategies aligned with animal health and performance goals.

  • Develop and optimize feed formulations for livestock and poultry based on nutritional requirements, raw material availability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular farm visits to assess animal health, feeding practices, and provide technical support to farmers and distributors.
  • Analyze data on animal performance, feed intake, and health to recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and sales teams to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Deliver product presentations, trainings, and seminars for clients, dealers, and internal staff.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and regulations in animal nutrition and feed manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in animal nutrition or feed formulation, preferably in a feed manufacturing company.
  • Strong technical knowledge in livestock or poultry nutrition.
  • Willing to travel extensively within Region 3 (Central Luzon) and Region 4 (CALABARZON & MIMAROPA).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Licensed agriculturist or veterinarian is a plus.
