Job summary

GMC in Cebu, Philippines, is seeking a Feeds Veterinarian to ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of our feeds while supporting the health and productivity of livestock across multiple species.

The role involves monitoring ingredients, reviewing formulations for poultry, swine, and ruminants, and ensuring GMP/HACCP/ISO compliance. A DVM with an active license and 1–3 years in a feed mill is preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Licensed veterinarian in good standing at time of application.
• 1–3 years of experience in a feed mill or feed manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of multi-species nutrition and feed safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality, safety, and nutritional adequacy of feed ingredients and finished feeds.
• Support and review feed formulation for poultry, swine, and ruminants.
• Address nutrition-related animal health concerns and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity and veterinary standards in the mill.
• Coordinate sampling, laboratory testing, and result interpretation.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Assist in regulatory compliance, audits, and product claims documentation.

Join GMC as a Feeds Veterinarian and play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and effectiveness of our feeds while supporting the health and productivity of livestock across multiple species.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and evaluate the quality, safety, and nutritional adequacy of feed ingredients and finished feeds
• Support and review feed formulation for poultry, swine, and ruminants
• Minimum experience with two of the three species (poultry, swine, ruminants) is required
• Identify and address nutrition-related animal health concerns and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with feed mill biosecurity and veterinary standards
• Coordinate feed sampling, laboratory testing, and interpretation of results
• Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams and customers
• Assist in regulatory compliance, audits, and product claims documentation

What We're Looking For
