Job summary

Toyota Butuan is seeking a Car Jockey to safely move, park, and inspect vehicles within the dealership and designated areas. This role supports Sales, Service, and operations by keeping vehicles presentable and properly positioned for service, display, or customer pickup.

The ideal candidate is accurate, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused, with the ability to follow dealership procedures, communicate vehicle status clearly, and work collaboratively across teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course.
• Preferably with driver's license.
• Must be customer-service oriented, adaptable, and flexible.
• Great accuracy and attention to detail.
• Adept at conducting vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and maneuver vehicles within the dealership premises and designated locations.
• Transfer and position vehicles for servicing, detailing, display, customer release, or other operational requirements.
• Ensure vehicles are handled carefully to prevent damage during movement and parking.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after moving units to identify visible damage, missing accessories, or other concerns.
• Verify vehicle cleanliness, condition, and readiness based on applicable dealership procedures.
• Immediately report any defects, damages, or irregularities to the assigned supervisor.
• Assist customers and dealership personnel during vehicle pickup, transfer, and release activities.
• Maintain professional and courteous interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Support a smooth and organized vehicle turnover experience.
• Accomplish vehicle inspection checklists, trip records, and other required documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service and other departments regarding vehicle movement schedules and requirements.
• Ensure proper communication of vehicle status and inspection findings.
• Follow all dealership policies, traffic regulations, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles and work areas.
• Perform other vehicle-related duties as assigned by management.
