Job summary

Access is seeking a diligent janitor/cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of building common areas in Metro Manila. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and elevators, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for tenants and staff.

The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with adherence to health, safety, and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a janitor, cleaner, utility worker, or similar position is an advantage.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Honest, responsible, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain building common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Collect, segregate, and properly dispose of garbage and waste.
• Clean windows, glass doors, fixtures, furniture, and other assigned areas.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Monitor the cleanliness and condition of assigned areas throughout the day.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, leaks, safety hazards, or other building concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with basic building upkeep and minor maintenance tasks when required.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and building policies at all times.
• Perform other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
