Job summary

St. Theresa Dialysis Center, Inc. is seeking a diligent cleaning staff to maintain sterile, orderly conditions across the Hemodialysis unit and patient areas. The role focuses on daily sanitation, linen handling, waste management, and supporting nurses in patient care.

You will ensure all offices and treatment areas are cleaned, assist with laundry services, arrange regular washing, and help keep windows, curtains, and restrooms in top condition, following DOH standards and clinic policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of the Hemodialysis unit and assists nurses.
• Gets and returns patient linens.
• Keeps washing area for dialyzer and bloodlines clean and dry.
• Cleans dialysis area after each patient according to DOH standards.
• Maintains dialysis, office areas and patient/staff restrooms.
• Cleans all offices before evening closing.
• Disposes waste daily and follows segregation guidelines.
• Assists in cleaning and disinfection of clinic areas.
• Arranges regular washing service for lines, floor rags, towels and aprons.
• Monitors laundry service and submits inventory to Accounting.
• Assists in selling kalakal and submits sales receipts.
• Cleans glass windows and doors weekly.
• Changes curtains monthly.
• Reports equipment faults to admin for swift repairs.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

• 1. Maintains overall cleanliness of the Hemodialysis unit and assists the nurse in the care of the patients.
• 2.In charge in getting and returning linens used by the patients.
• 3.Keeping clean and dry at all times the washing area for the dialyzer and bloodlines.
• 4.And also after each transition/termination of each set of patient make sure that the dialysis treatment area is well cleaned as per the standard of DOH.
• 5.Maintain the dialysis area and the office area as well as the Comfort Room for patients and staff.
• 6.Make sure that ALL OFFICES are well cleaned before leaving the clinic in the evening.
• 7.Disposing daily all waste supplies and garbage and follow waste segregation management.
• 8. Assist in overall cleaning and disinfection of the whole clinic i.e. Dialysis treatment area,
  office area, comfort room, RO and storage area.
• 9.Assist in arranging regular washing service of all used lines,Floor rags,technical towels,nurse’s cloth apron.
• 10.Receives and monitors the In and out service of Laundry service, and submits inventory lists to Accounting office daily or weekly as required.
• 11.Assists in selling ‘kalakal’ and submits to Accounts sales cash and receipt.
• 12.Weekly cleaning of Glass windows and all door surface
• 13.Changing of all curtains in a monthly basis.
• 14.Reports to the administrative officer of any malfunctioning equipment as soon as it is detected so repair can be done immediately.
• 15.Perform other task that may be assigned from time to time.
