Job summary

CKH Group is seeking a Tax Preparer to assist with accounting tasks, prepare financial statements from source departments provided by clients, and perform GL entries including bank and payroll reconciliations. You will also assist in preparing US corporate tax returns for clients.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics, 2–3 years of US tax experience, fluent English, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software; experience with UltraTax is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 2–3 years working experience with US taxes specifically.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software packages.
• Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach.
• 2 years experience working with UltraTax Software (must have).

Responsibilities

• Keep records of financial transactions, balance the books, and perform account recons.
• Bank account recons.
• Payroll recons.
• Complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare tax returns for corporations.
• Prepare tax returns for individuals.
• Accurately prepare necessary paperwork for tax returns.
• Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.
