Job summary

Optum Philippines is seeking qualified nurses to join our clinical operations team supporting US healthcare programs. Roles involve case management, care coordination, and clinical management activities under the supervision of an RN or MD.

Requirements include active USRN ( mainland ) and PHRN licenses, Bachelor of Nursing, and at least 2+ years hospital experience (ICU/MS/ER/Gen-Med). The position requires night shifts (9pm-6am Manila time) and weekend off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (active) and Philippine RN/USRN/PHRN licensure as required for role.
• Experience: 2+ years hospital work, preferably ICU/MS/ER/Gen-Med Reconc, Adult care.
• Knowledge of drugs and prior indications of medications; ability to navigate MTM with multiple comorbidities.

Positions in this function require various nurse licensure and certification based on role and grade level. Licensure includes RN and LPN/LVN, depending on grade level, with current unrestricted licensure in applicable state. These roles identify, coordinate, or provide appropriate levels of care under the direct supervision of an RN or MD. Function is responsible for clinical operations and medical management activities across the continuum of care (assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating). This includes case management, coordination of care, and medical management consulting. Function may also be responsible for providing health education, coaching and treatment decision support for members. Includes Health Coach, Health Educator, and Health Advocate roles that require an RN. *Employees in jobs labeled with 'SCA' must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree of Nursing + Active USRN (mainland only) & PHRN license
• 2+ years hospital experience preferably in ICU/MS/ER/Gen - Med Recon, Adult care
• Relevant experience: Candidates need to think on their feet because they are talking to patients
• Knowledge of drugs and prior indications of medications
• MTM target patient w/ multiple diseases with multiple medications which comes with high annual spend
• Ability to work during 9pm-6am MNL shift | Fixed weekends off; US
