Job summary

Optum Philippines is seeking an MTM Clinical Admin Nurse to support medication therapy management, conduct medication reviews, identify care gaps, and educate patients on safe medication use. The role coordinates with pharmacists and providers and ensures documentation compliance with MTM and CMS standards.

The candidate should possess a Nursing degree, active USRN (mainland) and PHRN licenses, plus 2+ years of hospital experience (ICU/ER/Gen-Med). Diabetes/MTM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree of Nursing + Active USRN (mainland only) & PHRN license
• 2+ years of hospital experience preferably ICU/MS/ER/Gen - Med Recon, Adult care
• MTM target patient w/ multiple diseases with multiple medications which comes with high annual spend
• Candidate should know drugs, but they need to have knowledge of prior indications of medications
• Proven ability to think on their feet because they are talking to patients

Responsibilities

• Manage MTM platforms, scheduling, and administrative tasks to support clinical operations

The MTM Clinical Admin Nurse supports medication therapy management by conducting medication reviews, identifying care gaps, educating patients on safe and effective medication use, and documenting all clinical interactions accurately. The nurse coordinates care with pharmacists and providers, assists with adherence and quality initiatives, ensures compliance with MTM and CMS standards, manages patient outreach and scheduling, and handles administrative tasks within MTM platforms to support smooth clinical operations.
