Remote Accounting Associate — Supporting Clients Based Abroad
Location: Philippines · Fully remote
Employment: Permanent, home-based
Hours: Shifted to overlap with North American business hours
Role Overview
Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is expanding its team and inviting experienced Bookkeepers and Accounting Professionals who have worked with clients outside the Philippines. You'll be responsible for maintaining the daily books, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and completing the month-end close, all while collaborating closely with clients and your teammates.
We want to hear from accountants who work confidently on their own, enjoy connecting with clients based overseas, and are ready to keep hours that align with North American time zones.
Core Responsibilities
Take care of routine bookkeeping and accounting work — payables, receivables, journal entries, and accruals. Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts, and see the month-end close through from start to finish. Prepare financial statements such as the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow report, keep records accurate and neatly organized, and investigate any discrepancies that come up. As the situation requires, help out with payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow reporting, and keep close checklists and timelines up to date. Steady, clear communication with clients and colleagues sits at the heart of the role.
What You Need
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related course. At least three years of accounting or bookkeeping experience working with clients abroad. Strong, practical QuickBooks Online skills are essential, along with excellent written and spoken English and hands-on experience dealing directly with clients or stakeholders. The people who thrive here are detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple deadlines. Exposure to Xero, Bill.com, Excel, or Google Workspace is a plus. We welcome both CPA and non-CPA applicants.
What You'll Receive
A monthly rate that reflects your experience and a role you can do entirely from home. CAS provides a company laptop, monitor, and accessories, 15 paid leave days per year, and observance of local holidays. On top of that, you'll build valuable experience with accounting firms and clients abroad, supported by structured onboarding, continued guidance, and genuine chances to grow.
Move your accounting career forward with CAS — working from home in support of clients overseas.
