Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking experienced bookkeepers and accounting professionals to support U.S.-based clients remotely.

You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly closes, and financial reporting, while communicating with clients and internal teams. This full-time independent contractor role is based in the Philippines and aligned with U.S. business hours/night shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience with U.S.-based clients.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience communicating with clients or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and accruals.
• Perform bank, credit card, merchant, and loan reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Maintain accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow reporting.

About the Role

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is looking for experienced Bookkeepers and Accounting Professionals with hands‑on experience supporting U.S.-based clients.

The role will support day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting activities, including reconciliations, financial reporting, month‑end processes, and maintaining accurate financial records.

This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals who are comfortable working independently, communicating with U.S.-based clients, and working during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping and accounting activities

Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and accruals

Perform bank, credit card, merchant, and loan reconciliations

Support month‑end closing activities

Prepare financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements

Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

Assist with payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow reporting when required

Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies

Maintain accounting checklists, procedures, and close schedules

Communicate regularly with clients and internal team members

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience supporting U.S.-based clients

Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online

Good written and verbal English communication skills

Experience communicating directly with clients or stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Willing and able to work U.S. business hours / Philippine night shift

CPA and non‑CPA candidates are welcome to apply

Experience with Xero, Bill.com, Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, or similar accounting tools is an advantage.
