Job summary

Ecological Energy Technologies Inc. is seeking a UAV/ Drone Engineer to design, assemble, repair and test drone systems. The role blends hands-on field testing with technical development to advance UAV projects.

Requirements include a relevant engineering degree and hands-on drone experience, plus CAD/3D printing skills. Knowledge of flight planning and airspace rules is essential. CAAP pilot credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in drone design, assembly, repair and testing.
• Knowledge of UAV operations, flight planning, and airspace regulations.
• Proficient in CAD, 3D modeling, fabrication and 3D printing.
• Familiarity with CNC, RTK, LiDAR, photogrammetry, GIS and 3D mapping is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, assemble, and test UAV/drone systems and components.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and optimize existing drones.
• Conduct drone flight testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist in UAV mission planning and field operations.
• Design and fabricate components using CAD, 3D printing, and CNC.
• Support integration of UAV hardware with other components.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and project inventory.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
