Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking a Modelling and Risk Analytics Officer - Test Specialist in Taguig to support automated loan origination and credit scoring across Cards, Personal, Auto, and Mortgage loans. You will work with Credit Policy and Risk teams to optimize decisioning and automate processes.

You will drive SIT/UAT for LOS and other bank systems, develop test plans and dashboards, and ensure quality through collaboration with developers and business users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Banking & Finance, Statistics or Mathematics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) with working knowledge of Python and SAS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Loan Origination Solutions and other bank systems.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, execution requirements, and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, and testing teams to validate enhancements and processes.
• Prepare MIS reports, testing dashboards, and data quality analytics to monitor activities.
• Identify, document, and elevate system issues, track resolutions, and re-test as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of SIT/UAT with proper documentation and approvals.

Our Consumer Lending team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Modelling and Risk Analytics Officer - Test Specialist.

In this role, you will support the implementation and continuous enhancement of automated loan origination and credit scoring solutions across Cards, Personal Loans, Auto Loans, and Mortgage Loans, helping streamline credit policy execution and loan approval processes. You will collaborate with Credit Policy and Risk teams to optimize credit decisioning, drive process automation, and execute portfolio, policy, and collection strategies powered by scorecard models and data-driven insights.

What the role will entail

• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Loan Origination Solutions (LOS) and other bank systems to ensure successful implementation and system readiness.


• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, execution requirements, and testing procedures to support quality system deployments.


• Collaborate closely with application developers, business users, and other testing teams to validate system enhancements, processes, and functionality.


• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, testing dashboards, progress updates, and data quality analytics to monitor testing activities and outcomes.


• Identify, document, and elevate system issues, track resolution progress, conduct re-testing, and ensure defects are fully addressed.


• Ensure the timely completion of SIT and UAT activities, including proper documentation, compliance with testing standards, and required approvals.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related field.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with working knowledge of Python, SAS, or other data analytics tools; familiarity with credit operations processes is an advantage.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret and apply complex rules, processes, and guidelines.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, facilitate discussions, and build productive working relationships.
