Deutsche Bank in Manila is seeking an Analyst/Sr. Analyst to support clearing and settlement of OTC derivatives. The role involves ensuring timely match, settlements, and cash transfers, with emphasis on controls and risk management.
The candidate will work in a cross-asset derivatives settlements team, coordinating with Sales, Trading, and external clients to meet regulatory and internal standards while delivering high-quality service.

Work Hours: 3PM - 12AM or 4PM - 1AM (Mid shift)
You will be part of Cross asset Derivative Settlements team; the team aims to process daily pre and post settlements and related activities either manually or STP. The core functions covered within the team is to ensure timely matching of trade confirmations, trade settlement, cash transfers to clients and banks, reconciliation of ledgers with the incoming/outgoing funds. The team is required to understand the fundamentals of the product and underlying instruments and business strategy.
You will be responsible for ensuring the operations environment is run in a controlled manner, ensuring that all KPI’s are achieved and delivered to the standards agreed. The job holder also needs to ensure the resources both human and technological are managed effectively to ensure that all operational risks are mitigated, there is coverage to ensure any business requirements - standard and non-standard are understood and always met. Job holder needs to manage market-driven flows, understand the client and market needs and be able to manage the team to adapt to these to ensure delivery.
Other responsibilities include cross-training, succession planning, preparation of management reports and contributing to departmental initiatives, and working with various departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of all activities on a regular basis within the given timelines.
