Job Summary:

Responsible for safely operating a 6-wheeler truck to transport goods, materials, and equipment to designated locations. Ensures timely delivery, proper handling of cargo, and compliance with traffic laws and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a 6-wheeler truck in a safe and responsible manner.
• Deliver and transport materials, equipment, or goods to assigned destinations on schedule.
• Assist in loading and unloading of cargo when necessary.
• Ensure that all delivery documents (Delivery Receipt, Trip Ticket, etc.) are properly signed and returned.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspection before and after trips (brakes, lights, tires, oil, water, etc.).
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or damages immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transport.
• Monitor fuel usage and submit accurate trip and fuel reports.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• With valid Professional Driver’s License (Restriction Code applicable for 6-wheeler truck).
• With proven experience driving 6-wheeler trucks.
• Knowledgeable in basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiar with local routes and traffic regulations.
