Job summary

JV Hauling and Trucking Corp. in Batangas seeks a skilled truck mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in trucks and trailers, and perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure safety and uptime.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates, with vocational training a plus, experienced with HOWO and rigid/ref trucks, physically fit, able to work overtime or on-call, and capable of maintaining accurate service records with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or better; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• Experience in HOWO and rigid/ref trucks maintenance and repair.
• Knowledgeable in truck maintenance, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Physically fit and willing to work overtime and on-call.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Honest, reliable, and with good work attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in trucks and trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake servicing, and engine tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and brake systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults accurately.
• Repair or replace defective parts including engines, clutches, and gearboxes.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Respond to roadside breakdowns when required.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
