The Travel Operations Analyst resides with the Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) – Intelligence Operations Center (IOC), supporting the Country Security Operations Center (CSOC) by providing continuous monitoring, situational awareness, and operational support for global employee and executive travel. This role focuses on real‑time travel visibility, monitoring of emerging events, and coordination activities that enable duty of care coverage 24/7/365.
Operating within established procedures and escalation frameworks, the Travel Operations Analyst plays a critical execution‑level role in identifying impacted travelers, supporting response coordination, and maintaining accurate operational records in a fast‑paced security operations environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor global employee and executive travel activity using approved traveler tracking and travel security platforms.
- Maintain real‑time awareness of global security, environmental, political, and operational events that may impact traveler safety or mobility.
- Identify travelers potentially affected by developing incidents or disruptions and initiate appropriate notifications or escalations.
- Review, triage, and document travel‑related alerts, advisories, and system notifications in accordance with established procedures.
- Support coordination with Executive Protection teams, regional security partners, and CSOC counterparts during routine and emerging situations.
- Assist with traveler outreach, follow‑up messaging, and location verification as directed.
- Provide accurate traveler location and contextual information to support incident response and non‑standard escalations.
- Maintain clear, timely, and defensible documentation of travel monitoring activities, alerts, and incidents.
- Participate in structured shift handovers to ensure continuity of awareness and operational coverage.
- Prioritize and manage tasks effectively during periods of increased operational tempo or global activity.
- Escalate issues that fall outside defined procedures or risk thresholds to senior operators or leadership as required.
Qualifications
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in security operations, travel security, intelligence operations, or a related role.
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or operations center environment.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established processes while applying judgment within defined guidelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to operational environments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling time‑sensitive or safety‑related information.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a shift‑based, fast‑paced operational setting.
