Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. seeks a Transport Engineer to support project management and implementation in the transport engineering and optimization group, coordinating with internal and external teams.

You will perform network checks, site surveys, create engineering work plans, and issue service orders while ensuring proper documentation and escalation of issues. Candidates should have an Electronics (ECE) degree, basic data communications knowledge, and experience with Python/SQL and MS Office;

Qualifications

• Electronics (ECE) engineering graduate.
• Basic knowledge on data communications.
• Basic knowledge in python, SQL, data analytics.
• Proficient on Microsoft Office tools (Excel / Word / Powerpoint).
• Willing to work beyond office hours if needed.
• Strong background in telecom industry is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 year experience in telecom works.
• Keen to Details.

Responsibilities

• Handle and support project management and implementation in the transport engineering and optimization group.
• Coordination with various internal, external domains and vendors
• Perform Network Checking and assessment in transport Network.
• Assistance in the creation and maintenance of project documentation and reports
• Provide support and monitoring in fieldwork activities
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
• Ensure all issues are properly logged
• Reporting of status to the proponent of the requirement
• Lead internal project meetings to ensure deliverables and client commitments
• Support Network Optimization Activities.
• Conduct site survey, audit and onsite activities
• Process Technical Site Survey Report
• Creation and Issuance of Engineering Work Plan
• Creation of Service Order and Method of Procedure
• Carry up to NOC Implementation
• Accomplish logical requirements for acceptance process
• Conduct Engineering and Transport Assessment
• Update Transport Network Diagrams and Topology
• Assist on Technical Network Recruitment related to Bandwidth, Availability, Latency and Architecture
• Internet Protocol Allocation
• IP Clock Assignment for 2G, 3G and LTE
• Document Preparation for Fieldwork Activities
• Transport Activities and Troubleshooting
• Coordinating with Client Wireless for Facility Implementation Order Concerns
• Software Updating
• Network Diagrams
• Network Utilizations and Health Check
• Dashboard creation
