Operating a Tractor-Trailer:

• Driving a tractor-trailer combination truck to deliver goods to various locations.

Loading and Unloading Cargo:

• Ensuring cargo is properly loaded and secured for transport and unloading at the designated destination.

Route Planning:

• Planning and following routes, utilizing maps or satellite navigation, to reach destinations efficiently.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Inspecting and maintaining the vehicle, including checking for safety issues and performing basic maintenance.

Documentation:

• Completing and verifying paperwork related to shipments, such as bills of loading and delivery confirmations.

Communication:

• Communicating with dispatchers and clients to provide updates and address any issues.

Safety:

• Following all safety regulations and practices, including hours-of-service requirements and adhering to traffic laws.

Time Management:

• Meeting delivery schedules and adhering to deadlines.

Compliance:

• Complying with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and laws.
