Responsabilités

• Operate assigned truck trailers, tractors, and other Company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Drive routes and transport cargo according to schedules and requirements.
• Maneuver vehicles within ports, terminals, warehouses, and yards.
• Park and secure vehicles during loading, unloading, and wait times.
• Verify cargo details against transport documents before departure and on delivery.
• Deliver cargo to designated locations accurately within timelines.
• Report shortages, damages, seal discrepancies, or irregularities to supervision.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections for roadworthiness.
• Perform basic vehicle upkeep and housekeeping to maintain readiness.
• Identify and report mechanical defects and maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure proper handling and turnover of cargo, receipts, and passes.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of transport documents before/after trips.
• Obtain required signatures and clearances per Company procedures.
• Safeguard documents from loss, damage, or unauthorized access.
• Submit trip tickets, delivery receipts, fuel records, and reports timely.
• Comply with traffic laws, safety standards, client requirements, and regulations.

Job Description:
The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of cargo using assigned truck trailers, tractors, and other company vehicles. The role ensures that shipments are delivered in accordance with operational requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulations while maintaining the security and integrity of cargo throughout the transport process.

Job Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, trailer driver, or similar transport-related role.
2. Valid Professional Driver's License with appropriate restrictions/classifications for truck trailer operation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate assigned truck trailers, tractors, and other Company vehicles safely, responsibly, and efficiently.

• Drive assigned routes and transport cargo in accordance with approved schedules and operational requirements.

• Maneuver vehicles safely within ports, terminals, warehouses, container yards, and other designated locations.

• Park and secure vehicles properly when loading, unloading, waiting, or after completion of trips.

• Verify cargo details against transport documents before departure and upon delivery.

• Deliver cargo to designated locations accurately and within prescribed timelines.

• Report any cargo shortages, damages, seal discrepancies, or irregularities immediately to the appropriate supervisor.

• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that assigned vehicles are roadworthy and safe for operation.

• Perform basic vehicle upkeep and housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and operational readiness.

• Identify and promptly report mechanical defects, equipment malfunctions, and maintenance requirements

• Ensure the proper handling, custody, and turnover of cargo, delivery receipts, gate passes, trip tickets, and other transport documents.

• Verify the completeness and accuracy of transport-related documents before and after each trip.

• Obtain required signatures, acknowledgments, and clearances in accordance with Company procedures.

• Safeguard documents from loss, damage, unauthorized access, or misuse.

• Submit trip tickets, delivery receipts, fuel records, and other required reports within prescribed timelines.

• Comply with all traffic laws, Company safety standards, client requirements, and applicable government regulations.
